Consistency is major key
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
– 1 Corinthians 15:58
We all know someone who is inconsistent. They tell you they have this great idea for a project, and they start it, but it falls off. They say they want to lose weight and go to the gym, but stop going when they aren’t losing any weight. They say they want to make a career change, but they don’t start searching job listings on Indeed or Monster.
In order to obtain the results you want, you have to do it over and over again until it becomes a part of who you are. This is the key to being consistent.
Inconsistent people are scary people. They never want to venture out to see what life can offer them because they are stuck. They have the desire to want to change, but never put any action and work to get the results they want.
Never become so complacent with your life that you’re scared to leave your comfort zone. You’ll never be able to travel to that country that’s on your bucket list to visit. You’ll never be able to quit that job you hate so much. You’ll never be able to put your foot down and demand an engagement ring.
By being consistent yourself in your behavior with other people, you will be able to establish trust with them and they will learn to respect you.
You can’t expect to succeed if you only put in work on the days you feel like it. Consistent action creates consistent results. And if you are persistent, you will get it. If you are consistent, you will keep it.
